MOVING SALE: Kawasaki GPzx12

Moving Sale: Kawasaki GPzx12 Project Bike

Bill Hahn Jr. began this machine in the 1990s, and it’s been in a state of suspended animation since. A unique custom, it started life as a 1982 Kawasaki GPZ1100. Bill added a Suzuki GSXR swingarm, modified for twin shocks. Next came ZX10 wheels and brakes, and a ZX10 front end. He double-welded the 18” rear wheel for a full 6” width.

The engine has an MRE lockup clutch and undercut transmission. A welded crankshaft swings Venolia 1200cc, 12:1 pistons. Moderate cams of an unremembered origin actuate a lightly-ported head with HD springs and retainers.

A vintage Star Racing 1990’s Pro Stock header section is mated to an also period-correct Star canister via custom-fabricated, chromed piping.

The machine is about 95% complete. Finishing it would require a set of carbs, ignition (we can provide a Dyna setup) and miscellaneous minor details. As it’s been sitting for years, we’d also recommend tearing down/inspection and fresh re-assembly of the engine, just to be sure.

$5000 obo. Email sales@hahnracecraft.com with questions or bids.
