Let's talk about turbos. No other company has been turbocharging the Slingshot longer than Hahn RaceCraft, and while others have engaged in a race to the bottom in an effort to build the cheapest turbosystems, we've held the line on quality and content you just won't find anywhere else.
Stage 1 is our entry-level system, and is not intercooled. Should you desire even more power in the future, it's easily upgradeable to Stage 2/2X specs using our Stage 1 to Stage 2/2X Upgrade (click the link for details).
It all starts with Hahn experience. Since 1972, the Hahn clan has produced tens of thousands of turbocharging systems, and won countless racing championships while setting records worldwide. Our extensive experience with turbocharging the GM Ecotec engine in Slingshot dates back to 2003, when General Motors commissioned us to build turbosystems for their then-new engine for the world-renown SEMA Show. We've developed this remarkable engine series exhaustively ever since.
We didn't scrimp on quality. In addition to our own aerospace-quality machine work and fabrication, we integrated proud American products such as Precision Turbo, Magnaflow, K&N Filters and ARP Fasteners. All our raw materials are USA-sourced for the ultimate in capability and quality, empowering superb dependability down the long haul. Our motto is our name: we proudly produce RACE-quality CRAFTsmanship, leveraging our extensive racing history in every piece we build.
Our SST (SlingShot TurboSystem) features all that capability, all that history, all that success in a system you can install yourself. Every piece is either painstakingly hand-built in our Daytona Beach facility or sourced from the best vendors in the market. We didn't cheap out, starting with the heart of the system: a pedigreed Precision turbocharger and external wastegate. Like Hahn RaceCraft, Precision is known world-wide for their amazing and race-winning, record-setting turbocharging technology.
We sweated the details, such as our exclusive turbo oil line system that uses the factory-engineered turbo oil ports that are already on your Slingshot engine, for GM engineered these to be the superior solution in the cars that use this Ecotec in turbocharged form. We don't take the easy way out with cheap tricks like using the engine's oil drain plug for the turbo oiling. We do it right.
Our super-adjustable Precision Wastegate system allows easy boost pressure adjustments.
We don't limit your exhaust choices, offering no less than three highly-crafted stainless steel exhaust options. From loud to proud, we have you covered.
We didn't just plop an angled hose on the throttle body and call it good. Our mega-crafted TurboRam plenum makes it happen like no other, combining superior flow with dynamic good looks.
Because we know one size does not fit all, we offer customization options galore, including our magnificent StreetRace intake manifold that adds power and superb good looks. And if looks are your thing, we'll make you proud to lift the hood and show the world that you didn't just go low, you instead bought the best. Our Powder Coating and Ceramic Coating options will put the gleam on your Hahn SST TurboSystem.
Of course, you may also want to show the world your back tire as you disappear away from them, and our extensive dyno testing and drag race program has ensured that you'll do just that. The Slingshot Stage 1 SST TurboSystem includes as standard equipment:
Hahn/Precision CEA Turbocharger: Chosen by Bill Hahn Jr in conjunction with Precision engineers, this unit can support over 500HP. Bill used his lifetime of experience with hyper-powered turbo motorcycles to choose a unit that is specifically sized to optimize traction while achieving superb low-speed response.
Precision 39mm Wastegate: Endlessly configurable! Run the boost level that fits your needs, either Stage 2 or the more powerful 2X. (Each Stage comes with maximum recommended boost levels).
Hahn Turbo PCM Reflash with 2-bar MAP sensor: Another Slingshot first from Hahn, this innovative 2-bar operating system conversion is the most sophisticated available, continuously refined by Bill and our powertrain tuning experts.
Hahn RaceCraft SST Fab40 Turbo Manifold w/lifetime warranty: The Fab40 Turbo manifold, like most Hahn components, is designed and built in our facility. In continuous production since the late 1990’s, with many thousands still in use today, Fab40 combines the best qualities of tubular and cast manfolds into a unit so strong, it carries a Lifetime Warranty against cracking. It has been proven effective to over 700 HP.
Charge Air Piping: Mandrel-bent of aluminum tube in-house, this smooth design boasts no unattractive and turbulent welds, its smooth design providing an excellent engine bay appearance.
Air Intake w/ K&N filters: More aluminum mandrel-bent goodness, also free from welds, with the best filters (main and breather) that money can buy from K&N, both chrome-capped for that final touch.
- CoolRam Airbox Option: For the coolest air (and the coolest look!) possible, our CoolRam airbox seals to the underside of the hood and ensures only clean, cool air gets in.
TurboRam Throttle Body Plenum: Our unique and highly crafted solution to Slingshot’s limited underhood clearance requires no wiring changes or throttle body relocation. This billet and Tig-welded showpiece is another handsome addition to the distinctive SST underhood appearance.
Hahn RaceCraft standard blow-off valve: Also available is our Billet Blow-Off Valve Upgrade (see SST Options below).

Choose from one of three superbly crafted Exhaust Systems:
- No Exhaust: If you're using an exhaust system from another source, such as a Welter rear-exit, choose this option.
- FullRace Exhaust: (Standard with all SST Turbosystems) As the name implies, this is the loudest option of all. Simple and direct!
- StreetRace Exhaust: Features a Magnaflow stainless-steel dual muffler, it's much more street-worthy than our FullRace option.
- SidePipes Dual Exhaust: Also Magnaflow squipped, this is ultimate in sound control and exhaust fume dispersion, with amazing presence as well! This system directs the exhaust into fast-moving air alongside the machine.
